Fun Run / Fun Walk

On Saturday 6 September 2008, Pitlochry Primary School held their Annual Fun Run / Walk.
The weather was beautiful and over 600 learners, parents and friends enjoyed the 5km course.

The classes at Pitlochry each chose a theme, and came dressed to walk or run in their theme clothing. There was lots of fun and laughter as the classes grouped together for team photos. Cheeky  Cheetahs, Shower Time, Balloon Power, Pyjama Party, Many Masks and Formal Wear were some of the themes. Credit must go to the boys who did the entire course wearing suits, complete with tie and formal shoes, while others wore their slippers or shower caps!

After the walk, there was plenty of good food for sale, and the Milo truck dispensed free Milo to all. Lucky draws kept many of the younger generation eagerly hoping to win one of the many prizes – including a R500 gift voucher from Beverley Jewellers!

This was a wonderful day of fun, laughter and camaraderie.
